Dreaming Tracks Festival takes place on Saturday 20th October 2018 at the Manchester city centre music venue, Aatma. The festival starts at 4pm, with live music starting at 5pm. The bands performing at the festival are a selection of current dream pop, shoegaze and shoegaze adjacent artists, carefully chosen for variance in style and personality. Hideka, travelling all the way from Japan, will be performing her highly imaginative songs, full of wonder. Bluish (fka Veer), are a Lisbon based duo with a distinctive 80s synth sound. Dreamy guitars cast an enchanting spell over the audiences, the resulting sound could quite easily be heard in a David Lynch movie. Closer to home, we have the much-lauded Daniel Land, who has been releasing albums for over a decade, as well as the blissful sounds of Purple Heart Parade, also Mancunians and highly respected on the national live music scene. Earlier on we have relatively new and intriguing band Sequin Sally, who hail from Stockport, and the enigmatic duo Veladrome, deploying shimmering vibes that seem to hail from just beyond the veil of wakefulness.
